A Custom Golf Club Fitting -
Your First Step to Better Play

There are several thoughts on what you can expect from a custom golf club fitting. Different professionals offer different levels of fittings.

I personally offer a good comprehensive fitting that includes:

  • Skill level
  • Your specific goals
  • Shaft flex
  • Club length
  • Lie angle
  • Head material
  • Shaft material
  • Grip size and feel
  • Check your existing set for proper flex, lie angle and grips
  • Have you hit several pilot clubs just for feel so that you can give some valuable feedback

Odds are that I do not have your custom club already assembled. If need be I will build you a pilot club to try.

The cost associated with a good fitting is sort of a gray area as far as I am concerned. I have always felt that the fitting is part of my customer service - without a comprehensive fitting I cannot build you a great set of custom golf clubs.

Whether you are a new golfer, a weekend dew sweeper or have ambitions of playing some pro tournaments I will give you the same quality fitting.

Just remember, a good custom fit for your golf clubs will improve your playing experience.

SIDE NOTE: I do have a standard fee for those that come in and want me to do a fitting for them and then hand over all the specs and computer printouts, so they can to go else were to buy their clubs. Let me warn you in advance, there is no guarantee that the sales person you give your specs to is able to read, much less understand, the information you are giving them, but rest assured they will have a set on the wall just right for you.

You will have to look around to find a good club fitter, we are out here and you just have to listen and ask around.

Run if the first thing you are shown is this years new models without any questions about you or your game, because from there it will only get worse.
